Back in the '80s, I was fresh outta college, and was a newly minted CPA. I was working for a major audit firm, well on my way to s lucrative career, when the S&L fiasco blew the bottom outta the economy. Hundreds of thousands of MBAs, CPAs, quants, lawyers, finance specialists, etc, lost their jobs, and many, like me our careers. Compared to the current situation, what occurred 30 years ago was nothing. It was always a matter of time that highly paid professionals would get severely impacted by this Depression...
