Thoughts 29Apr2020

The main reason is simple, my small town pharmacy had to shut down because Walgreens moved to town. The Trump tax cuts made so they pay zero tax, they are not required to be bonded, hold insurance because they are a corporation. So the small pharmacy had to pay 36% tax, carry bonds, Insurance and they had no chance to compete against Walgreens because of our socialist government. They are taking ur child's future, ur future u can't compete against corporations backed by government with bailouts and regulation and unconstitutional laws. This has destroyed America we don't even have close to free open market capitalism. We are straight communist u can open no buisness without government permission then u are limited to what u can do. U can't make antibiotics in ur basement, u can't sell milk, meat these things among many others the government has complete control gas station laws are set up so old gas station are unlincenable, so Casey's and cum and go, are the only gas stations around complete government control the communist control all.
I've been eating up your statistics for 3 years now. My eyes are open and I have adjusted my financial situation accordingly.
My neighbors and I have come up with contingency plans "if" things go south. We all have some individual skills to keep our community intact.. hunting, gardening, construction, military... etc.
Times are tough and look to get exponentially worse.

I lost everything in 2008 and didn't repeat the credit trap again. My 2017 37k vehicle paid for, my home I bought two years ago is paid for and it sits on a little over two acres about the 35 minuets from the south entrance of Yosemite in the Oak covered foothills. My garden is about to pop and I have enough money stashed away to live off for 5 years barring any unforeseen emergencies. It took years of living well below my means but now I am living stress free even with the madness we found ourselves living in.  I was taking your advice long before I found your channel.

Don't forget to prepare your smartphone. Apps & books that can be used offline. Buy a microSD card and load it up. Paper books are way heavier and cost way more. Get a portable solar panel & power bank suited to charging your device. Good luck out there.

I think you overlooked one major thing that most preppers do. You should know how to work on your vehicle in right now while times are still somewhat good you should give it a proper tuneup. New spark plugs new rotors new brakes changed all the fluids because do you want a vehicle that's going to be able to last the duration of this recession or depression without any major mechanical issues.

"Dark Towers" by David Enrich.  This is an awesome, hard to put down, book that outlines the rise and fall of Deutsche Bank and how their corruption and greed created the biggest derivatives liability exposure in banking history, and how their reckless actions could actually take down the global banking business.

A friend of mine went to change 10k US dollars into Euro's yesterday. No bank would take them, they said they don't want them. So now he has a LOT of dollars which he cant't get rid of.

1. Initial unemployment claim: 26 million
2. Support retailers. Buy goods and services now before you are affected by the global supply chain shutdown
3. Wealthy people want you to become productive. Help people. Employ people! Do well for yourself!

i miss the online!!!! thanks mister maloney.

Why does Martin Armstrong come out with a video with Greg Hunter interviewing with the support of the dollar over the next two years Martin Armstrong is not stupid with all these gold bugs all these gold supporters it's always next year next year next year maybe two years maybe next year when we get to 1850 I'm going to start selling off will get the 2,000 I'm dumping at all take the cash and buy up all these repossessed homes foreclosed on all these Real Estate Investment Trust are starting together cash cash cash cash cuz they know and when this crash comes they're going to buy up all these foreclosed homes and then they're going to double the rent again
You better hope your not going have to buy the property twice. There were cases of this in Russia after the USSR collapse. All the land was handed over to a new governing administration. Thus, any agreement of property ownership made with the old regime were null and void.

First they cut wages and threatened workers.."If you don't work harder we'll send your job to China".   So we worked harder and corporations stuffed the profit in their pocket.   Then they busted the Unions and cut wages even more...and we worked harder.    The corporations stuffed the profits in their pocket.   Then they DID send the jobs to China, and even required us to unbolt the machines from the factory floor and train the Chinese workers how to use our machine.  Then the corporations stuffed the profits in their pocket.    I see a pattern here.

I own an in-home healthcare  agency and my business is growing. I have 4 clients and 7 employees. Except for taking the necessary precautions to keep my employees and clients safe,  my business is not effected. I owned my company during the Great Recession and was not effected at all. Most of my clients are wealthy, elderly and need 24 hour care.

I still have a job still. I'm senior IT for a Fortune 500 company in a major city. I support 600 users and I know by August none of us will have jobs. I say nothing at work but I see the turnover already. I get the equipment returned from managers of the people they let go. We already let go of all contractors, facilities, and theres talk of cutting 5% across all dept. We are no longer allowed any overtime or allowed to order any equipment for the rest of 2020. The signs are everywhere. We are all on borrowed time.

Learn from the 1st wave before the 2nd wave arrives, hoard cash and do not take on more debt.

A person can have some land and get together a ,"tribe"  to be able to assist each other and to do outreach in your community.  Look for land with no restrictions in area on the lower income bracket.  Learnt o be self reliant.  Basically form a community, with each person filling a role when possible.  Look for strong resilient people with skills,

COVID 19......In others words Certificate Of Vaccination ID...……..19 (AI....Artificial Intelligence).....first and ninth letter of the alphabet…..your life is scripted by the powers that be decades in advance...…….One world government, one digital currency is on its way........and if you don't have a vaccine shot, the mark of the beast, you get nothing and you'll like it...........as the late, great George Carlin spoke the truth....."It's a big club and you ain't in it. You and I are not in the big club."

Cities, counties and states are losing tremendous amounts of tax revenue. Look for cops to to fine you for the most ridiculous infractions to raise revenue. Look for civil asset forfeitures to increase astronomically.

Inflate the future us currency to pay off enormous sovereign debts with confetti. Little people get crushed...cry for help...new financial digital system rolled in to "save the day"..central banks live on...  during the interim the pension payments are "honored" and satisfied but the purchasing power is near nothing. That's what I've come to understand listening to many financial bloggers..and former Fed. Chair. Alan Greenspan seems to be saying just that about the pensions. This is probably one reason the Fed is now buying up everything and insuring the stock market goes to the moon nominally so that the pension payments can be satisfied. ?? ....

BAD to WORSE:  Congress has a bill on the table in the House, to allow renters not to pay rent.  The property owner can apply to the govt for aid, but must pay a steep monthly fee and turn over 10 percent of ownership to the renter/s.  Can't find the bill yet, but has AOC and other "progressives" backing.  Heard it on a national radio show today.

Here in south east asia countries of 600m people are suffering too, most small little people and businesses came to a halt. No food bank, you are on your own. Next will be bank collapse. Triggering credit crunch, no credit even big companies with go under. Indonesia President let City migrants to go back to village to grow their own food.

You're talking about the 2001 Argentina crisis. Deposits in USD where frozen, and after months they gave back ARS 1,40 for every USD (at the same time the peso depreciated from a 1:1 peg to 4 in very little time). There was big social unrest, massive assaults to any market/grocery, and 6 presidents (!).
To answer if I (or Argentinians as a whole) learned something from it is another chapter. What I mean is that there were many other times in history we had these kind of trouble. Almost every person here has his savings in USD. The velocity of the peso is quite high usually and, thus, very unstable.
In Lebanon, citizens were keeping U.S. dollars in the bank, but the banks refused to give them U.S. dollars in withdrawals, and instead, gave them the Lebanese currency at the "bank rate" not the black market rate.  It was pure theft by the government and the banks.

Gold holds its value in an economy against hyperinflation. It doesn't gain you purchasing power - you won't get rich (but you'll "move up" because the rest of your society got poorer, generally).

Hyperinflation isn't just balanced out by reduced demand - causing prices to fall again. There is indeed reduced demand for non-essentials, so they lose most of their value relative to cheaper alternatives (fine wine is now only twice the price of 5 buck chuck - instead of 10x, say - but the take-away point: the number of people who can afford wine at all has been reduced sharply, anyway).
I was in Thailand in '97. Bangkok was like a ghost city after a period of debt driven expansion. Big building projects and corporate activity was stopped dead in its tracks when the credit taps were switched off.

I just wanted to add that i often hear talk of central bankers consistently making bad decisions that inevitably lead to economic crisis and that you'd think they would learn by now, however, i don't often hear that this may be, in fact, designed to work this way... consider the outcome of their "bunglings"; A very few people at the helm of these central banks have seemingly become the owners of everything own-able in the world (resources, real-estate, gold, etc.) more importantly.... are we really all of the state of mind that this is just bad economic policy? Red pill anyone?

I realise that gold and silver are great medium to use for trade transaction and paper currency is not because in year 2013 , before I  turn 13 . I realise that currency losing value because my father said that when he was younger, the price for good and service are cheaper than that time. So, I wonder as 12 years old child: why ? . I make a research and found that gold , silver and livestock are always increase in value against the currency. Then I found the currency are falling down on value. So, as a child , I wonder why the adults , ( if they really are an "adult" ) use this bad financial system. When  I grow up and watch your videos , I'm so shocked to extent I fell ill. Then, I realise  that why we use this bad financial system is because the people who controlling the financial system are , in American term it called " ripping off " from the masses for their own gain. I'm so surprise when I realise that a lot of  people don't know they get robbed voluntary in front their very eyes.

Can't get "fired" I have been working (employed)  by my family for 25 years - do I get a watch?   No - I get good children that are my inheritance - home schooling way before it was cool - needed a back bone to stand up to the sleepers - "working" on the grand children now - my red hair looks like yours today, Mike and I earned every one of them.

If you liked iPencil  You'd love a children's book series called "The Tuttle Twins" I bought the whole series and read it to my kids all the time. At a young age they now understand how the truly free market economy works. The younger generation should be taught these principles and not the Orwellian socialism they get taught in schools.

Since 1999, the €uro has lost 85% of it's value vs gold. When people talk to me about how well the stockmarket is doing  I just show them how much gold has done. 425% in the last 20 years and all that without FED and ECB bailouts and buybacks.

Keep your heads and do not panic folks . Help each other and do everything in small bites so you won't over stress and become a burden or liability to your friends or family. One more thing. This is not a "judgement of God" on the world. This is just the end of a bad system and we do NOT have to support another one like it. We have each other. That is the real Wealth of this world . And , WE ARE  a renewable  resource !!!  :)

Aarogya Setu app

Aarogya Setu app alerts people if any known or person in their vicinity has tested positive. The district administration has been asking all educational institutions and departments to push downloading of the app.

Did the bank bail-ins start?

Did the bank bail-ins start? I tried to log into my US Bank account twice today, getting a "system is down" message. A short Google search revealed that there are thousands of US Bank customers that have no access to their money for the last 12 days, not online, not over the phone, not in person... Is this problem unique to US Bank? Hurreh, I love digital world :-) That makes me frustratingly happy

I too have been Locked out of my account
And have been experiencing the same issue been on hold for three hours at a time just to be hung up on this is ridiculous I have plenty of money in the bank there should be no reason for all this I already went to a consumer financial protection bureau and made a complaint as well somebody better fix this real quick

Trust me, your problems are just getting started. I hate to be negative. I didn't experience the same computer issues but after activating my card online, I haven't been able to log on again. The website is totally down. I have my credentials and it keeps saying "If you are a returning cardholder enter your card information and password in the Returning Cardholder Login section." THIS IS BOGUS. The website has been down for me, for at least, TWO WEEKS. Your commentary is providing false hope for people who are desperate.

Gardening

buy heirloom vegetables at the grocer, health food store or farmers market. eat the veg and save the seeds to plant. you only need one of each. tomato, zuccini, bell pepper, jalapeno, eggplant etc and will have 50+ seeds to plant. on tomato plant gives you 20-30lbs. if you live in an apartment you can grow in pots (or cut soda bottles) on the balcony or in a corner by the window if no access to a small dirt patch. lettuce can also be grown in pots and so can potato and carrots. lettuce and micro greens can be grown indoors in a fish tank with a lighted lid.

Learn to cooperate with people

The idea that people are going to be foraging successfully while thousands of people around them are starving is ludicrous. Even if you found enough edible bark or whatever to eat on any given day you are probably going to end up in a machete fight with 30 people who will take it from you the moment they see you. It makes more sense to work together as a community to start businesses the provide for people's needs. Foraging and Hunting your way through the apocalyptic collapse of civilization is pure comedy. You will survive if you can cooperate successfully with people around you. Which is how successful communities were established in this country in the first place.

Venezeual food crisis

My girlfriend is from Venezuela, she fled 6 years ago to America, works 2 jobs. She said to me the other day, "This reminds me of how it was before I left my home". She knows this is terrible. Her father has to go out and wait in 6-12 hour lines just for a piece of meat for himself and her mother. Power off every night at dark, water on and off randomly every day. No gasoline anywhere... We are doomed!

People love to hear things that make them happy (lies).

I talk about this bank fraud a lot, to friends, strangers. No one wants to hear it & ignores m, sys I'm negative etc. The wold I in 1st try on gief= denial. I feel like we are in the monopoly board game ith all RE in nd of foreign co porto. The good thinb= I'm old- but feel so sad for next generations. Perhaps if there's lawsuit against china (but I think chin, US, Israel organized virus together ), we cn have global debt jubilee ( see Mike Hudson FIRE sector + debt jubilee ) & in out all debts. But hint www will let the print most money. Future looks ugly as most of rich are now entitled

Working span and income

So 6.5T, some perspective. Lets assume no one works until 18 and retires at 66, to give us a total of 48 working years. Average US salary is 56k per year, multiply by the 48 year working lifespan. 2.7M total over a lifetime. Current average US tax rate is 14%. 14% of 2.7M is 378k. 378k per person in taxes over a lifetime of a person. 6.5T over 378k gives us 17M. 17 million people working their ENTIRE LIVES, to break even on the amount the government takes in taxes for SEVERAL MONTHS of corporate greed. That's not even taking into account the massive deflation, or the interest on that 6.5T will accrue. The total working US population is 157M so 17 million is 10% of the total workforce (pre-virus layoffs). It is also $20,000 per person of the total US population (330M). The crazy conservative high end of Sanders medicare for all is 4.7T a year, we spent 6.5T in a couple months. Most estimates are around 3.2T per year. We could have had healthcare and cover the virus, and ALL other medical problems for two year.

Protect your purchasing power

One question... im from Argentina... mi goberment its printing pesos... a looot of pesos.... any idea? help?  thanks!
Buy silver ounces to protect your purchasing power. I remember being in Argentina and changing money in the blue dollar market I think they called it, was closer to the real exchange rate, instead of what the government told people the exchange rate was. Love Argentina!
its impossible to buy here if the police found you away you home.... you go to jail....and theres a lot of taxes to buy silver from outside the country. but thanks!
I saw the same thing in India in 1968. The official exchange rate was 5 or 5.5 rupees per $, but in the street it was 8 or so per $.

crashing the economy on purpose

they're crashing the economy on purpose so that more people would enlist in the military. During the Iran confrontation back in January, a military specialist for Fox News said it would take at least 100,000 personnel to invade Iran. Well, when there is this much job loss, more people will enlist in the military.

That's exactly what I think. Create much unemployment. Cause a depression and start a war. The starving young people will enlist for money and food. Many will die or be vaccinated  with a sterility component  or suffer  death or destruction from them. The older people will still get vaccinated with Lord only knows what that will shorten their lifespans and the death economy marches on fulfilling the Georgia Guidestones proclamations.

Pandemic And Economic Collapse: The Next 60 Days

The solution is always the same: localized trade and production and removing yourself and your community from dependency on the establishment controlled economy.

Food shortage

I saw the same thing in Venezuela when Chavez was in place back in 2011 when I lived there.  He controlled the people by stockpiling food & products in warehouses, keeping stores empty, allowing food to rot in order to CONTROL the people. Think about that....Be your own grocery store. Grow your own food. Chickens, veggies, fruits, Bees for honey, goats.

Online business by Individuals

I sell on eBay and on the last few days I sold over 5000 coin capsules I never sold this many at any time before
The made me close my busisness for the virus pandemic and still i dont know anybody that has had it....plus them ventilators will kill you bacause your diaphragm gets weak after a few days...go figure all is wrong all are lies

Govt printing too much currency == hyperinflation

hyperinflation is not due to people's greed (people are always greedy, so hyperinflation should always occur); rather, it's due to the government's printing too much currency.

When a government's revenues don't pay its operating costs, the government sometimes (instead of raising taxes or cutting expenses) simply prints more currency.  Since the supply of currency increases, its value in terms of other goods and services decreases, so the price of everything rises.
In countries where hyperinflation is occurring, you see people carrying bundles of bills to pay for goods and services.  Since people don't normally carry bundles of bills, someone (namely, the government) must have created all of those new pieces of paper.  When the government stops printing new bills, the hyperinflation stops.

Soviet economics

Seems to me that the proposal at the end can be described as "the transition to Soviet economics" (an oxymoron!) preceded by TEMPORARY individual ownership.  The Soviet is, of course, the Fed, which assumes the position of Government (we're close to that now.) The state ultimately owns all assets and the individual is thoroughly and permanently pounded into the dust.  All we have to do is wait for the present debt-free property owners to become sick and incompetent, or die.  Then the state owns all assets and central planning is completed.  And we know from history where THAT leads to; along the way perhaps we can "enjoy" some Stalinesque famines and purges.  Fun! The wet dream of so many undergraduates from our indoctrination centers (the colleges and universities) run by actual Soviet manques.  So many frustrated ideologues can become fulfilled that this surely must lead to Nirvana, quickly followed by a descent into chaos, death and hell.  What could go wrong?!

Or: if your view of this is not slanted left, but instead right: the current casino-owning President becomes "The New Il Duce" in this fantastic merging of corporate and government fascism.  We can then give him a new name: "TRUMPOLINI"! - srw

how to buy a house in the coming collapse

Here is how to buy a house in the coming collapse: wait patiently for a beat up boring suburban house being sold by a couple that are divorcing and where their bitter teenage children have punched holes in the walls and the home owners are too fed up to fix the holes, let alone paint or clean the carpets. Make an offer for that house, contingent on inspection, and make sure you have a decent lawyer because the house may have liens against it for work that remained unpaid as the former owner's lives fell apart. Then fix it up as you like. The problems are all cosmetic but they will be a total turn off to 99% of buyers. Once you've fixed it up, it will feel like home and you'll love it. Brutal reality.

Robert kiyosaki - future

1. Hyperinflation is coming as long as they keep printing
2. Government owning part of Boeing is communistic move
3. IMF bailout. IMF stands for I'm Fkd
4. Get out of the system via by owning gold and silver and Bitcoin.
5. Transform to becoming a new you, begin learning via YouTube for free from the best teachers.
6. Get financially educated, take this time to learn and become in control of your future.

Bulgaria Financial crisis

I am from Bulgaria as well and I was 16 years old when that happened. Basically for one week the middle and working class was destroyed. Of course this was oucastrated by the globalists. I am laughing hard when someone says this is not going to happen to my country. It is happening now and will going to be very, very painful!!

I am also from Bulgaria at the time of the hyperinflation I was a kid and I was able to preserve my whole net-worth which was around $65 saved from lunch money :) by buying USD (the world reserve currency, although fiat, felt like gold compared to the Lev which was experiencing insane hyperinflation). My grandparents were on the receiving end as they had no debt, but they had a lifetime of savings, enough to buy a house or two, but it all got eaten by inflation and reduced to grocery money. At the time I was telling adults not to hold Leva, but no one took me seriously, I was just a 13 year old kid.

I am from Bulgaria ???? also and I remember my dad bought two BMW cars when the hyperinflation started to save his money value. The biggest problem back then as it is right now is the quality assets were unavailable to buy or you couldn't get you money out of the bank to be able to buy. Look at what happened in Greece and now Lebanon that people cannot get their money out to buy quality assets like Gold and Silver and Bitcoin ;)
Bulgaria happened in former USSR
People could have bought a house for couple hundred $
Some of them more courageous took huge loans right before the collapse and gained a lot of buying power right before the default
I'm wondering should I get a mortgage of fiat  dollars and then pay with my gold and silver

A long-time Bulgarian viewer here! I was 8 years old in 1997 and I remember my grandpa (God rest his soul) buying a huge bag of flour. Prices were increasing daily, suddenly the money started having more and more zeroes. Thank God it only lasted less than a year :)

I am from Bulgaria and was a teenager at this time. They closed the banks have frozen all savings. And suddenly all the savings of my grand parents were gone. They were saving every month whole life just to save for their children and grand children. And after few weeks it worthed nothing. Then the people that made this happen, bought ( privatize ) everything for almost free, and rule today. Get your currency out of the banks!

Practical ways of improving financial condition

what's a practical way that the common man could employ to "steal" back from these criminals?  How can we become modern day Robin Hoods?
Learn to trade.. all the free money ends up in the stock market at some point so learn how to take your piece.

Set up a company and make it public sell shares, pause your business, claim your bailout, have your staff work without letting anyone know, buy back your own shares with free money, give yourself a well done bonus, declare bankruptcy, by an island somewhere

To solve the problem of bailing out Wall Street, all we have to do is make sure no one utilizes the dollar domestically, boycott every large corporation, and end the Fed; no big deal, easy-peazy!
.I am still confused about where to invest.. I think basics... shelter, food, commodities

Where you used to work???. (I mean how you know all that information)
Retired in 2012.  Almost flunked out of high school.  Never took a class. Totally self taught.  Same as you, just love podcasts, audio books and Youtube vids. ;)

biggest complaints as the Great Depression

One of the biggest complaints as the Great Depression unfolded is that the banks closed, taking depositor's cash with it.  Typical 5-year homeowner's mortgages could not be renewed because any remaining banks (if any still existed in your area) were not making loans.  So you lost your home.  Of course, this argument doesn't account for the fact that you may not have had income (a job) to service the loan.  I postulate that the Feds are pumping cash into the system for 2 reasons, 1): to preserve the banking infrastructure for domestic and international use, and 2) to prepare the banks and position the dollar to take over various global bank and currency defaults.

Garden

Do not be fooled people when they say gardening is non-essential.. do you connect as a ploy to stop you being self-sufficient and growing your own food do not listen to the government grow your own food if possible..

so true that's why I say it's the younger generation or this generation they going to be hiding that more more I'm glad I wasn't born now I'm glad I'm from the 80s I did great back then but that's changing.. my pickles are used as well my van that I built a house to live out of only cost free $4,000 to Ford E350 imagine I bought a new van for 35 $40,000 I still be paying for it right now because I only spent 3000 to 4000 for you that I have zero payment I paid cash if I'm running good if it breaks down I'm prepared to fix it I could do most of the work myself cuz I'm DIY but any major jobs I can fix it and I have no payments ever I love it like I said before I'll never ever buy a brand new vehicle never that's a problem at least car dealership and thanks I trying to get you in that this is why we don't check every week you end up with nut liqueur no money cuz everybody taking a piece of your check that's why I call these car payments endless car payments for a reason.. because I tried to get you to lease cars now not to buy them because when you buy the car you paid off they come get you again but when you lease a car you keep it for two years bring it back and get another new one and this is what they want people to do we have money coming in for them guaranteed payments guaranteed and the batter your credit is the more you pay.. this is one food that won't get I've learned to live a minimalist lifestyle but I live a much simpler life I'll never ever go back to mainstream living never I want to retire when things get back to normal I can't to live out of my van full time.. this way if I get a pension or I get Social Security if that's still around play with my Social Security money back in my van after live a comfortable life opposed to pay my rent as an old person oppenheim mortgage still and struggling cuz I don't have enough money and then do a job while I get my pension he'll know when I'm retired I'm retired clear example..

Bitcoin

Two years ago I bought a new farm house in the mountains of the Great North Woods in northern New Hampshire - paid for completely with selling half of several hundred bitcoins I bought 5 years ago,  Also new tractor, soapstone wood stove, large Amish barn and much more.  40 acres of land - 1/3 field and 2/3 hardwood forest.  Apple trees, wild life and much more.  Excellent garden.  I've been a complete prepper for ten year - people would laugh at me, they are not doing that now as they line up in droves for free food in their SUV's and line up at gun stores (they were once anti-gun, not any more LOL).  Self made poverty of their own making.  They collapsed into massive debt with credit cards for stuff they did not need to impress people they do not care for.  Here I am wealthy as can be.  How did that happen?  How did that happen?  Go ahead hungry desperate people - not laughing at me now are ye?

Self sufficiency

As a child of the depression and WW2, the lessons learned are, get out of debt, as your circumstances allow, withdraw or minimise any official and/or government involvement as possible, become as self-sufficient as possible, have on standby a way to cook, boil, heat and store. Form a trade channel between trusted friends and families. Stay under the radar, control your own finances. Where possible, have a 12 month cash nest egg on hand in keeping with a routine budget, including rent and overheads. Our motto was: tell 'em nuthin, take 'em nowhere and give 'em nuthin! On that basis a family of 14 survived intact and reasonably healthy and happy.
There is another agenda afoot. I repeat what my mentor said: 'When things don't add up, take a step back and ask, what is the other agenda?' And the only thing in a common-sense way that reveals itself to me is power, profit and control. Power, profit and control

MMT

The biggest fallacy of all in MMT is that it causes inflation or hyperinflation. That's not what happens in a generational Crisis era, like today, when almost everyone is in debt. Today the country and the world are in a classic deflationary spiral, and anyone counting on inflation is going to be badly hurt.

MMT is the ultimate form of drug addiction.

It's like a drug addict who has already lost his home, his family and his job, and who needs to take more and more drugs to feel ok. Taking more and more drugs only postpones and worsens the problems he has to face, but it may be the best choice for the time being because it postpones the problems he has to face. In the meantime, he keeps hope alive. Maybe he'll win a $10 million lottery, so he'll be able to use the money to get off drugs, and get his home and family back. Keep taking drugs, and keep hope alive as long as possible. If something can't go on forever, then it won't.

So that's why so many economists and politicians hope for and predict inflation. Just as a drug addict might hope for winning the lottery, economists and politicians hope hyperinflation, which is their version of winning the lottery, since hyperinflation wipes out debt. It's a dream fantasy.

When people have tons of money, then they buy lots of things, creating inflation.

But people have NO money today. They have the opposite. Instead of tons of money, they have tons of debt, which is the opposite. They have tons of interlocking debt.

They do not have the money to spend or the desire to spend, so there won't be hyperinflation. You have a clue what's going on when the federal government is tying its bailouts to requirements to spend. If the government has to force people to spend there won't be inflation. If people won't spend, then there'll be deflation, the opposite of inflation.

The way the economy will fail is when somebody's margin call or somebody's bankruptcy triggers a chain reaction of debt payment failure. That's what a deflationary spiral is, as one bankruptcy triggers another one. This is what I used to refer to as the Principle of Maximum Ruin: The maximum number of people are ruined to the maximum extent possible. Inflation is a fantasy.

From the point of view of Generational Dynamics theory, hyperinflation can only occur in generational Awakening and Unraveling eras, as in the case of Germany's Weimar Republic or Zimbabwe. In a generational Crisis era, when all the bills come due, it's not inflation but it's a massive deflationary spiral that occurs. If I have enough time left, then at a future date I'll write about the theory of how all this works. I can't get into it now, because this article is long enough as it is.

Venezuela Stock Exchange

Look at the chart for the Caracas Stock Exchange up to the point the economy collapsed in Venezuela. It wss just a measure of money printing.

https://images.app.goo.gl/FxqnCabfaG3Gg5WG9

The Caracas Stock Exchange up to the point the economy collapsed and the Venezuelan government printed the Bolivar into oblivion. This is what happens when governments panic and hit the [PRINT] button in a vain attempt to support the velocity of money (how fast it moves around the economy).

Incidentally, if you'd bought US$1m worth of Bolivars before the crisis in Venezuela, that $1 million would today be worth literally a few cents.

Remember, fiat "money" is just a credit note backed by a promise to pay the bearer the sum of the same credit note, not in gold, not in silver, but the same bit of paper.

It's backed by nothing at all.

If you've ever been to countries that have, in the past, experienced a hyperinflation due to debt monetisation, you'll have noticed their bank notes have many, many zeros. That's why.

Notice how the DJIA, the FTSE and other bourses have suddenly "recovered", even in the face of biblical non-farm payroll reports and unemployment claims? This, just after multi-trillion dollar "stimulus" packages? This is the same phenomenon as Venezuela experienced just a few years ago.

Airlines are seeing a double digit rise in their stock price, even though entire fleets are grounded, with no end in sight and unlikely to survive this year. This is Federal Reserve monetisation buying everything.

Beware the crack up boom. It isn't what you think it is... and low and behold...

credit will freeze up

we also have a decrease in populating and velocity is probably going down. Deflation will set in to assets like housing and gold and stocks, but you are correct about grocery prices. They most likely will stay constant or rise slightly. Or fall slightly, but they will fall less than other prices. The stimulus might keep those prices up. The rest of the stimulus will go towards servicing debt.

But I do think the credit will freeze up and stocks are gonna fall before the election

Stocks to buy

I think in there near term the market is not going to realize all this new money is here. The price of goods in the near term will stay where they are. As time goes on the inflation will start to show up. I think because we have decreased production and increased claims on production (money) that this effect could be quite severe. The longer that we continue our current pandemic policies the more severe this inflation on core necessities will be. Because remember this increased amount of cash is mostly going to be chasing the core things we need, so it should push up prices. They are creating new currency at a high speed I would not be expecting too much deflation especially in the medium to long term (six to eight quarters) Hopefully the government can reduce pandemic measures soon to mitigate some of the risks involved with what we are doing financially.

you should hold cash in your stock account. Stocks will drop 80% in dollar terms. Then you buy stuff up.

Just look at mining stocks during 2008, they dropped 98%, then exploded to the upside. Or amazon during the dot com. Started at $100, dropped to 6$, then sent it to $2000. So hold cash, don't hold stocks going in to this.

cash will be king.

cash will be king. Most you tubers are investing during this crisis, the best time in human history to divest from everything, including gold, and especially bitcoin. But keep thinking hyperinflation like all the gold salesmen want, truth is we are headed towards deflation and people are going to get owned if they don't hold dollars.

So arrogant to think the dollar will just hyperinflate, what a joke of a thesis. We are going to drop in comparison to dollars. Hasn't happened for 90 years, look at a graph of 1929-1955 of the Dow, that's what you can expect

Food shortage?

Countries are starting to stock pile food in anticipation of a world wide shortages. Kazakhstan, one of the world's biggest shippers of wheat flour, banned exports of that product along with others, including carrots, sugar and potatoes. Vietnam temporarily suspended new rice export contracts. Serbia has stopped the flow of its sunflower oil and other goods, while Russia is leaving the door open to shipment bans and said it's assessing the situation weekly...etc...check it out. This whole virus thing was a distraction of what is really going wrong and the worst is yet to come. Be informed, be smart, and be prepared.

hyperinflation-stock market-Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe, when they had their hyperinflation, they also had a bubble in the stock market. As the hyperinflation started to gain traction, there was a six week period in which the currency tumbled 10-fold. That's a huge drop. During that time the stock market rose 500-fold. So corrected for inflation, the stock market rose 50-fold measured in US dollars.

Six weeks later, the Zimbabwe currency had eroded another 100-fold and the Zimbabwe stock market went to zero. It fell 99.9% and then it stopped trading. In other words, ONLY those invested in PHYSICAL Gold and Silver were safe...the others lost it ALL!

Trump-Backed Drug to Be Tested on Thousands in Mumbai Slums

Hyperinflation

Hyperinflation obviously favors firms and persons with massive debts—repayment is made in relatively cheaper currency units. On the other hand, new supplies, labor and tooling comes in at a higher inflated costs. So management is problematical. In such cases, errors are easy and firms tend to be very conservative—thus hammering demand.

Hyperinflation's Effect on Stocks

Increasing Stock Prices

Stock prices will be affected in times of hyperinflation, driven by the overall increase in prices of all other goods and services. These increases in pricing would cause sales and profits to increase, which could also increase dividends paid by companies, as well as increasing the prices that stocks sell for, sometimes significantly.

Overall Economic Effects

Hyperinflation causes prices to rise dramatically, and although it is followed usually by wages rising as well, wages may not rise as quickly as prices, and it can lead to some people having significant problems paying for necessary goods and services. In addition, people who have cash in savings accounts or certificates of deposit will see that cash devalued quickly. The problems that people have making purchases due to hyperinflation can cause companies to have financial problems due to weak economic conditions and may also cause these companies to go out of business.

Protections Against Hyperinflation

Real estate is traditionally a good investment in times of high inflation, particularly if you have a fixed-rate mortgage. The reason for this is because you are paying back the mortgage with money that is reduced in value due to inflation. Stocks can work well in a hyper-inflationary economy, but generally only if your portfolio is well diversified with many stocks and you hold on to the investments over the longer term.

RBI pumps Rs 1.2 lakh crore fresh currency into system

Alert 22 Million Unemployed Workers! America Lost All Jobs That Created Since The Great Recession

Is economy doing good?

I am fortunate enough to have the best pizza place hands down in the state near my house. I was talking to the owner the other day and he stated that the bank absolutely would not readjust his loan or give him a new one. They kept asking him for more complex paperwork that he had never heard of in his life - with NEW rules on top of it and I'm pretty sure his credit is near perfect. Even he knew this was intentional - they're taking small business out or making them permanent slaves

Will fiat currency survive

Russians should see the 20% sales tax on new gold as a fee charged to get savings out of the Russian fiat system. The tax occurs only once and is not repeated on sales of second hand bullion which occurs on a margin scheme. Russians need to bite the bullet here. The Rouble has devalued by eighteen zeros in the last 105 years and yet this time it is different, so why should Ivor pay sales tax? Just pay it Ivor and get out now. There is no magic fiat currency, all be it the Swiss Franc or Russian Rouble, that will survive. If one stays in the Rouble one is looking at at least yet another two zeros or a 99% loss. So Ivor losses 99% of his savings and then tells his wife "at least dear we did not pay that blasted tax and settle for that 16.6% hit". 83.3% of savings rescued is 8330% more than the 1% remainder or remnant conversion value option. One has to make 16.6% gains 30 times in series to recover from a 99% devaluation, good luck with that one Ivor. (83.3 + 20% tax =100) My 99% devaluation suggestion is typical of the devaluation that most nations should require prior to entering a gold exchange standard, except for the USA where it would have to be much larger because the USA has no gold left except in unmined future mining properties owned by the government. In fact the USA has minus 6000 tons of gold ready to hand, that is the real problem of course.

Fedcoin

Watched the whole video. I am a former IndyMac agent. I can confirm this is actually going on right now. Banks are struggling to process the new fed coin as it is crashing the intranet systems. Data collection wet dream and like he said, control your spending. They are indeed blaming the consumer for the debt, therefore the consumer must be controlled so the banks can pay out to the CB's interest rates. Basically the farmer is blaming the livestock for the farmers greed. Utter insanity is taking place right now. - Real Neo

Who will pay for OD?

recession-proof businesses

It's funny how I talk about these jobs at play this coming a while back on this channel a few months ago.. if you're going to get a job it's a job that's recession-proof the Army Police Department Security nothing doctors supermarkets cuz people always need to eat.. these jobs among others are recession-proof the jobs that are not close clothing stores restaurants diners because when people can't afford to eat they simply we'll just go to the supermarket .. and then cook there own food.. dishwashing these jobs are dangerous jobs being and working at the mall you can forget that as well they shut down all the malls right now thank God I work in retail so I'm lucky and that's another plus cuz I don't have no heavy rent or big bills to pay.. which means if they cut my hours I'm just fine..

reality is outside your front door , not on a screen.

I am 64. I was suffering from cancer 4th stage (non hodgkin lympoma). In emergency I have to take chemotherapy because of seriousness of cancer. Since last five months I am taking DIP diet. I didn't Take any medicine. I am feeling fit. Dr wishroop Roy Choudhary is great

lot of fear in the comments,   if youre fearful , I understand  but  it aint a good place to be  from a survival  perspective . keep a clear head ,   dont buy the fear and you will make better decisions,  you cant control anything here but you can control youre response to it.  The Media is selling that fear like their lives depended on it and in a way they do,  if there  was a chart  for fear, that shit would be going parabolic  right now,,   reality is outside your front door  , not on a screen.

what creates a healthy economy

And I'll go on okay?...
I was a welder fabricator for 20 years that was my first profession and in 1973 on minimum wage a union job 40 hours a week with overtime after 40 hours I fed myself, ran a car and rented a complete house with another person we went halves but we rented a complete house a big one we had plenty of room we were happy. Can you do that nowadays? And if you can't why? How come that can't be done nowadays? Well I know. And I think you do too and if you don't then you should find out.
About 30 years ago I searched online for "what creates a healthy economy". There were many results I always knew it but just confirmed my beliefs. Now you go online now and you search that. You will not find it it has been erased from history because the elite and the rich do not want you to know what creates a healthy economy because oh my God! You might have to raise wages!!! Oh my God what a fucking nightmare!! That people can live and have a good life ohmygod!! That's going to cut into my profits!!
The truth of the matter is companies are making so much money now they can easily pay people a lot more money they just don't want to they're afraid of cutting into their profits. And then everybody wonders what's wrong with the United States of America.

Dollar

Strong us central bank pumped up dollars are doing this debt is being payed back in us inflated dollars 3rd world countries are being crushed.. Thank you America we export misery all around the world.

Hyperinflation strategy

Hyperinflation hurts the people that are on fixed income the worst I remember my grandparents in 77 had to sell their house and buy a smaller house. When gas went up to .75 gallon my grandfather bought a bike for short shopping trips.
Zero Hedge Recent Most Shared Article -- Investing Is Dead: World's Largest Asset Manager Says "We'll Just Buy Whatever Central Banks Are Buying" It was a FASCINATING read, and the insights are disturbingly true...

so i am hedged with gold and silver "physical" and heavy equipment through my general contracting business but my farm land (that i own outright" is also doing very well. even if the land goes down in the short term folks always need food. so i wouldn't sell on the down stroke after all i own it now loan. i do have loans on the equipment but it actually makes money. with the low interest rates at zero down for long terms it's good for business. i just don't understand how people can't see the benefit. why can i see it?

IRAN Inflation

we had a big inflation rate in last two years in our country and lets share my experience with you.
best investing strategy for this time is
1- borrow money as much as possible (loan) from banks
2- invest in real assets specially gold and silver
3- stock market price will increase after inflation, but there is a delay between increasing price of gold and stock
gold price will increased first and the after a 6-12 month main wave of increasing stock price will start

No bankruptcy court for sovereign nations.

There is no bankruptcy court for sovereign nations. When a country becomes insolvent the procedure for handling the bankruptcy is to debase the currency until it no longer has value and in this way they wipe out their debts. The US is now completely insolvent and in the process of going through bankruptcy by printing and debasing the currency. Holders of a nation's currency are analogous to stock holders, they are the ones who need to take the losses during the bankruptcy event. Holders of assets are equivalent to the bond holders, they take a hit but still retain a portion of their wealth.

Central banking inside

Guys, I've got a great idea. I'm gonna print up a ton of my own "Dupont" dollars, and decree that they're worth something. I'll print them up as fast as I possibly can, and even loan them out to you guys at an ever increasingly negative interest rate! Yep, that's right! Who wouldn't want negative interest rates coupled with inflation? You can enrich me twice as fast that way! Now, on top of this, because all of you are losing money in the stock and real estate markets, I'm gonna print up enough of these to buy up all your assets which are currently tanking. In fact, I'll give you a great deal and bid up the price on them! Free bailouts, guys! Come get your paper! Give me your assets please! Limited time offer, here. Act while you can!

Oh, you don't think that's a good deal? Hold on, let me make up some pseudo economic science BS theory that states "don't worry, inflation isn't a problem and more and more fake money is awesome. In fact, it makes you immortal and all powerful, and that's a great thing that will totally enrich me -- errr, I mean, the economy and all of you guys"

Money under matress

dont put it in your matress it didnt work out for people... really? my grandma was a war widow and did exactly that, when the time was right she took the money and bought realestate including a post office building with 100yr government lease amoung other things. died many years later with estate worth 36 million....whoops.... so much for that theory

PLEASE STOP SAYING THIS PANDEMIC IS A CONSPIRACY.

I'm an ICU nurse. PLEASE STOP SAYING THIS PANDEMIC IS A CONSPIRACY.  Many portions of a hospital are "slow" right now BECAUSE WE ARE DIVERTING RESOURCES TO CRITICAL CARE NEEDS.  There are LESS people coming to hospitals because PEOPLE ARE QUARANTINED...PEOPLE are afraid OF GOING TO HOSPITALS RIGHT NOW AS THEY SHOULD BE...WE ARE SEEING ONLY THE VERY, VERY SICK...our "frequent fliers" are staying OUT of the ER because they are scared to catch it...elective surgeries ARE CANCELLED and they account for 40% of hospital profits...outpatient centers are seeing less people because people are staying INSIDE. Please, you have both NEVER worked in this industry. STOP SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION.
Look...my whole family is in medical...I do understand the are diverting resources...but...care is being deprived to cancer patients...cardiac...orthopaedic elective surgeries have been cancelled...and hospitals are losing cashflow from their money makers.  People are dying from debilitating diseases and secondarily dying from corona virus.   Meanwhile lawyers are lining up to demand payment for injustices.  The standard of care should be corona coctail... hydroxichloroquine/Z pack...prophylactic once symptoms surface.  Little need for intubation/ventilators or hospital time.  99.99%

technology curse / boon

The head of the largest business unit at Vodafone company says 5G technology is causing the illnesses and deaths, not Coronavirus. In this recording he says he worked at Vodafone between 2013 and 2015 at the Vodafone company headquarters located in Newbury, Berkshire, England. He says 5G technology has radio frequencies that penetrate every solid object to a greater depth which means the frequencies penetrate into buildings. That would enable your cell phone to work inside a building where the phone may not work on 4G technology. The problem is that the radio frequency is also penetrating into people's bodies damaging their cells. The technology is causing people to get sick from cell poisoning. The self-healing mechanism in people's bodies is trying to push out the toxins. The toxins are expelled from the body in the form of a virus. He says Vodafone partnered with other companies to roll out the 5G technology first in Wuhan China about 6 months ago, which would have been October 2019. Soon thereafter 5G was implemented in Spain, Italy and a few big cities such as London. He says the companies are covering up the fact that the illnesses and deaths are caused by 5G technology by blaming it on the Coronavirus. Listen to him speak in this recording. https://masterminduniverse.net/2020/04/02/former-vodaphone-boss-blows-whistle-on-5g-coronavirus/

Solution to economic crisis

All we have to do is buy from small businesses and individuals. But you never mention that. Millions of small sellers on EBAY and local selling sites like Offer Up, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, 5 Miles, Craigslist, Let Go and many more, selling everything at better than corporations prices. Free market is there. Purchasing power is there. Real.people selling real things you need. Stop spending money with the corporations. Its simple. Very simple.

Rebuild business after collapse

We are in a textile/fashion business we have 140 big stores and online activity. Approx 250 Mln Euro turnover. The shops are closed since 17 March and government announced that the closure will be until at least end of April . Our business was already under very much pressure and fashion is nowadays deflationary, prices are dropping continuously. Online sales are neglectable because most people are busy with food, survival and Netflix. So this becoming a complete disaster and will result in massive lay offs and eventually consolidation or bankruptcy/closure. No way out. And will be impossible to built up such a retail structure in the coming years for us' as the ROI is way too low.

Savings wiped out

In Mexico City in 1987 there were uniformed men with machine guns at every bank branch. The same thing happened in Hong Kong ten years ago. I had to go into Standard Chartered Bank and I was stopped by gunmen from going in. CitiBank was also under siege. People had had their savings wiped out

Will economy recover?

I owned a a family jewelry business for 22 years. We are never going to be able to reopen again. This is truly being done by design. The stimulus is not coming and if it does it will be an asset purchase agreement. It's a lose lose situation for me:(
Yesterday I went on a recon tour in my small town of 9,000 people, I had a business here for 22 years and all I could see is financial destruction on a nuclear scale, this town is wiped out and the sheeple don't even know it yet, there isn't any small business that can handle what the Gov is forcing on us here.
This is a planned financial destruction, but I'm the crazy one mentioning this to anyone, still... even though everything I've warned about the last 10 years is coming true right in front of them in real time, denial is a strong and dangerous drug

PCR test fact

THE VIRUS is FAKE, an artifact of a fake PCR test.  PCR tests are more than useless for viral illness diagnosis.  The inventor, Kari Mullis, who got the 1993 Nobel for it once said that a quantitive PCR test is an oxymoron.  The whole plandemic is built on this phony test and fake statistics form Johns-Hopkins, WHO and its subsidiary, the CDC.  I would love to have a one-on-one debate with Chris Martenson though I only have a BS in chemistry and he has a Ph.D in toxicology.  Of course the CURE is WORSE than the disease.  That was how it was designed - to throw what remains of the US middle class into poverty, and the already poor into sub-poverty. And to push through a totally fascist totalitarian state built on the Chinese model.

Stock investing during volatile time

As a investor I am absolutely amazed that your viewership is not greater. This perplexes me because of the incredible material you cover every day . Personally there's never been a better time to make money in the market. You search and give out the statistics which has helped me make a great deal of money in a short amount Of time. You called this thing. Just like when you called gold at $1,200 and it shot up to $1700 if a person was able to pick this up and drop it off at the higher prices there was lots of money to be made and the same with this right now.. just one example!!!!!!
picking up Boeing at a $105... I'm selling it a $160 what is wrong with that? Does anybody in their right mind think that the government is going to let Boeing go out of business? You have to have half a brain not to figure this out. They're going to be bailed out. I'm just sorry I missed it at $90. These things are ducks in the water for anybody who's paying attention to the statistics it's free candy for crying out loud. It seems that many of the people commenting want to complain and I think it's great. $100 say they'll be poor the rest of their lives. Yes we're on the Titanic but some of us are having a good time on the way down. Thank you for your satistics and the great job you do David

Govt will inflate - clear your dues/debts

If you want to get rich you have to serve a lot of people
I was born 1982 in a small farming town south of Interstate 40.  When I was little everyone in town had a garden and 1/4 of the land was farmed mostly in watermelons or peanuts.  By the time I was a teen no one gardened and all the farms had turned to grazing cattle.  The town had a school, 2 gas stations, a post office, and 2 general stores until I was a teen.  Everything is gone now... they have put the post office on 2 hours a day and the school goes out next year.  I welcome this new local world.  I have watched my town die as big agriculture, transportation, and technology out bought and out performed my little corner of the world.  It should have never came to this.

Self sufficiency is better than any precious metal.

Deflation won't help. It increases the real value of debt. It will wipe people out. Inflation and political pressure to ensure wage growth keeps up with inflation will help. Also political pressure to deindex unfunded government liabilities. That will deflate the real value of public and private debt and liabilities. The majority of Americans who have no saving will be unaffected precisely because they have no savings to be wiped out by the inflation. If they have debt then their ability to pay it will improve. The boomers retirement savings will take a haircut. They may be impoverished, but they created the problem, so karma. Your silver with stay whole.

Gardening Composting

The gulf between the rich and the rest of us is growing every single day. The government approves the growing of gmo foods with toxic chemicals in dead zones. Food GROWS. We all need to turn away from huge corporations and start providing lots of things for ourselves, with healthy nutritious food being a major thing. This guy is great. He can reach the younger generation and draw them into a more productive fulfilling life style of providing for you and yours, on a very real basic level.

If you survived an apocalypse or are just one of the MANY financially struggling in our nation you would want to grow herbs for medicine, although if you were growing most of your food, I guess you would be healthier than many people anyway, but still an interesting video would be growing herb for their medicinal properties. You could put a waiver at the bottom that says this information has not been tested by the FDA, like is on the herb bottles sold in stores.

I actually did a diet similar to this myself last year (saving money to repay loans by nixing my food budget entirely) and I would say that I agree with most of these but I would make a few changes. Note; I'm about 3 zones colder and the winter no-growing season lasts abut 6 months here. For that reason I planted lettuce and (small) radishes instead of cabbage and kale. To start with, where I live sulfur butterflies (cabbage worm) are very common.... so cabbage and kale get absolutely torn to bits, plus they take longer to grow.... by the time they're about ready to harvest is also peak cabbage worm time. Small radishes and lettuce can be ready in about 20 days and they're the first vegetable plants that start growing at the end of winter. I planted an entire 10'x10' square with lettuce and radishes and harvested them first in the areas that I had future plans for summer veggies. Then by summer when everything started to bolt and all the summer veggies were planted, I left them in the ground to collect seed. These seeds can be planted for a fall crop too, but they double as edible sprouts for the winter months. The second change/addition would be cherry tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes are vigorous and produce all summer long rather than just once at the end of the season like squash/corn, providing a steady supply of food all summer. Furthermore, they reseed themselves without fail (unlike beefsteak tomatoes) just from fallen fruit. I don't even grow mine in the vegetable garden anymore, I let them grow as a weed in the hedgerow. Garlic is also a good one, not necessarily important, but doesn't take up space nor does it require any effort.
potatoes can also be grown in bin bags albeit thick bin bags are better to reduce light on potatoes close to the edge of the bag, stacked tyres also coz they can be banked up easily
am a absolute novice gardener, but when I grew potatoes, I threw a potato on the ground and covered it with a good layer of straw. As the straw packed down, I'd throw more around the plant to thoroughly cover the new tubers. This way I could lift the straw and pick as many potatoes as I wanted for dinner without killing the plant. I'd pack the straw back around the plant and it would continue to grow, putting out new potatoes as it did so. There was no waiting until a harvest date. It was also fun to show children who could pick a potato for their own dinner any time they wanted to. The straw kept the ground moist saving on watering and I didn't have to weed. Any straw sprouts could be yanked and left laying on the surface to add to the mulch. Kitchen vegetable scraps could be tossed under the straw and left to also turn into mulch. No muss, no fuss.

My dad took produce scraps, paper towels, tea bags and coffee grounds,  etc and put everything straight into the garden. Never had a mulch pile. He had the best garden/yard in the neighborhood. Sometimes we make things too complicated. Drying the grass and letting it much back into the grass or throwing on top of the straw worked for me. Of course in California I had more iceplant in the yard than grass.
