I live in the US. I have a bank account in Canada. When Trump started closing borders two weeks ago, I drove to Canada and got my gold out of storage. It took me three hours to go through US, then Canada customs to get an export form, then back to US Customs. They asked why I was doing this. I said Trump will close the border. They laughed.
The border closed the next day.
