I'm an ICU nurse. PLEASE STOP SAYING THIS PANDEMIC IS A CONSPIRACY. Many portions of a hospital are "slow" right now BECAUSE WE ARE DIVERTING RESOURCES TO CRITICAL CARE NEEDS. There are LESS people coming to hospitals because PEOPLE ARE QUARANTINED...PEOPLE are afraid OF GOING TO HOSPITALS RIGHT NOW AS THEY SHOULD BE...WE ARE SEEING ONLY THE VERY, VERY SICK...our "frequent fliers" are staying OUT of the ER because they are scared to catch it...elective surgeries ARE CANCELLED and they account for 40% of hospital profits...outpatient centers are seeing less people because people are staying INSIDE. Please, you have both NEVER worked in this industry. STOP SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION.
Look...my whole family is in medical...I do understand the are diverting resources...but...care is being deprived to cancer patients...cardiac...orthopaedic elective surgeries have been cancelled...and hospitals are losing cashflow from their money makers. People are dying from debilitating diseases and secondarily dying from corona virus. Meanwhile lawyers are lining up to demand payment for injustices. The standard of care should be corona coctail... hydroxichloroquine/Z pack...prophylactic once symptoms surface. Little need for intubation/ventilators or hospital time. 99.99%
