Buy what you can at cheap, l ok ke Target or Walmart (wear a mask, go at 7am to avoid crowds, check the days for "senior hour" to use that if you are, or avoid it if you aren't). Buy extra, sit on cash if you can, or better, try to still find some physical metal if you can (shop online, check around, takes a while).
If you can get 1 or two things out if the way (like if you have TP for 6 months) then you can avoid worrying about that rush (it already happened for that).
REPLACE WHAT YOU USE! I have friends who say "i havent gone to the store for 3 weeks". Well, good for you on avoiding potential exposure to the virus, but bad that you have not replaced anything nor gained Intel from what's always out of stock, what's always in stock. Start buying extra, aisle shop and buy. 3 is 2, 2 is 1, and 1 is none. Have a backup and replace that backup.
